Responsibilities:

• Perform measurements and record product quality using visual, mechanical and optical gauging instruments.

• Assist in development of quality plans and inspection documentation.

• Assist Quality Team Lead in meeting daily requirements such as product release, receiving raw materials etc.

• Assist Engineering with validation part measurement.

• Maintain accurate and complete records to show quality status of products. Follows GDP procedures.

• Provide process feedback to Production and Quality Management. Initiate alert to Production and Quality Management on detection of non-conformances.

• Strong knowledge of interpreting drawings, customer specification, test methods, and inspection criteria.

• Package, rework, de-flash and sort product as required to support Manufacturing/Production.

• Ensure adherence to proper line clearance, batch control and product containment

• Other duties as assigned by Quality Team Lead or Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High School/Trade School Diploma or GED

• 3-5 years of experience in Quality Control

• Experience in the medical device industry preferred
