TriHealth Good Samaritan Hospital seeks dedicated Medical Lab Technicians and Medical Technologists to join our cutting-edge laboratory team. You will perform a comprehensive range of tests across diverse specialties, including Transfusion Services, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology/Immunology, Toxicology, Special Chemistry, and Fibrinolysis. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of test results and support the best possible outcomes for our patients.

This opportunity is open to students who will complete their degree in May or August 2025.

Job Overview: This position involves performing a comprehensive range of laboratory tests, ensuring the accuracy of test results, and reporting findings to physicians, pathologists, or other medical professionals. The role spans various key areas within the laboratory, including Transfusion Services, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology/Immunology, Toxicology, Special Chemistry, and Fibrinolysis.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining laboratory instruments, leveraging the laboratory computer system for task execution, and adhering strictly to established policies and procedures. While this position works under the supervision of a general supervisor, independent work is expected in specimen processing, test performance, and result reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

For Medical Laboratory Tech you need:

  • Associate's degree in medical technology or related field.
  • MLT (Medical Lab Technologist) certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP)
  • Must be graduated from an approved MLT program and be certified or registry-eligible
  • MLT clinical training
  • Up to 1 year of clinical experience
  • Recent graduates and students finishing their programs in May or August 2025 are welcome to apply.

 

For Medical Technologist you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field
  • MT (Medical Technologist) certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP)
  • MT Clinical Training
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience in a related field
  • Recent graduates and students finishing their programs in May or August 2025 are welcome to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex assignments with appropriate delegation and completion.
  • Utilize sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
