Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Software Reliability Engineer to join our Software Engineering team. This role requires an understanding of mechatronics, system architecture, and the complexities of software design to enhance system reliability and safety. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of fail-operational and fail-safe products, ensuring high availability and system performance. You will report directly to the VP of Software.

Requirements

What You’ll Do:

• Lead system design initiatives to ensure high availability and reliability.

• Develop strategies for designing fail-operational and fail-safe products.

• Monitor system performance and implement diagnostics and OTA updates.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and enhance functionality.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, System Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in system integration and product delivery.

• Strong background in software design, system architecture, or validation.

• knowledge of safety standards such as ISO26262.

• Demonstrated ability to design and maintain highly reliable systems

• Experience in mechatronics and understanding both hardware and software components.

• Proven track record of innovation in high reliability environments.

• Familiarity with performance monitoring and diagnostics tools.
