As The Petivity App Business Owner, you’ll play a key role on our team as you define the strategy for the mobile app, solve tough business problems, define, and prioritize features while balancing user experience and tradeoffs. Working cross functionally with multiple product teams (hardware, cloud, mobile app, artificial intelligence) and portfolio leads, the Petivity mobile app business owner ensures the app provides a seamless experience that serves both cat and dog owners using any of Petivity’s products and services.

 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy that encompasses market positioning, growth objectives, and user acquisition plans
  • Establish, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators to measure the success of the business across various aspects such as user engagement, revenue generation, and market penetration
  • Understand tradeoffs of various features and help product development team prioritize roadmap based on business goals, resource allocation, bandwidth, and strategic initiatives
  • Design, test and implement effective monetization strategies for the app, including in-app purchases, subscription models, and partnerships
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
  • Maintain strong brand identity and ensure mobile app experience is consistent with Petivity’s mission
  • Collaborate with the product development teams, including hardware + software, to ensure the overall Petivity experience meets market needs and remains competitive

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 7+ years of professional experience with 3+ of those years in technology or app development industries focused on managing a mobile app in a leadership capacity

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $106,000 to $151,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
