Job Description:

Department Overview:

The IT Operations Specialist provides expert advice and/or acts in a lead capacity on operational system / applications planning, performance, availability, integration, operations support and release / deployment management.

Depth & Scope:

• Primary subject matter expert in multiple areas and consults with clients/or project teams with respect to all aspects of operational support / solutions.
• Works independently and/or autonomously as a senior/ lead on a diverse range of tasks / operational support of solutions and is relied upon to coach/ educate others.
• Assignments are highly complex and multifaceted.
• May monitor, coach/ educate a small team of IT professionals.
• Acts as a key resource in the exchange of technical information for project teams, the business and/or outside vendors.
• Generally reports to a Senior Manager or Executive.

Education & Experience:

• Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
• Graduate degree, preferred
• 7+ years relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Regular schedule: 1st shift 7AM-4PM / 2nd shift 3PM-12AM
• 5+ years experience providing weekend on call rotation for incident management support
• 5+ years experience overseeing/monitoring for critical events and incident disrupting business operations
• 5+ years experience in problem solving and providing incident recovery direction to support teams
• 3+ years experience with Incident Data Analysis: Data quality control, analysis for root cause themes and infrastructure knowledge
• 5+ years experience in technical infrastructure and AMCB Core Batch
• 5+ years of senior level verbal and written communications experience
• 5+ years experience in high accountability, sound judgment and decision making capabilities
• 3+ years experience in engaging colleagues, business partners, key stakeholders, and business leaders
