RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKS
Job purpose:
- The Talent & Learning Specialist is responsible for implementing, for Operations Region 2, the Talent Management strategies that support company’s objectives and Employee’s engagement, to retain technical expertise, grow leadership excellence and accelerate business performance and sustainable growth.
- The Talent & Learning Specialist acts as advisory to the HR community and Business of their remit to ensure business continuity and meet company’s strategic goals.
Job contribution:
- You contribute to the selection and development and manage the implementation of talent and learning related processes, policies and systems, working closely with the HR Manager for Region 2 and the Global HR Business Partners for Operations Offshore and Onshore
- You monitor these processes and systems, using data reporting, and driving continuous improvement and change to meet strategic goals;
- You contribute to the definition and implementation of the learning plan, for your remit, in line with Business needs and priorities;
- You advise and coach Local HRBPs to ensure the identification and nurturing of talents to meet current and future business need;
- You interface with various stakeholders among the HR community, the Business and external network for your remit, being the catalyst that embeds a talent & development culture, in line with Company’s objectives;
- You are responsible for following industry best practices related to Talent Management and provide new ideas and trends in line with Company's needs.
Functional competency:
- Analytics and reporting - Ability to understand, analyze and draw meaningful conclusions from data and quantitative and qualitative research and to provide accurate, relevant and timely analytical review and reporting in accordance with relevant deadlines, understanding the implications and presenting the results, as part of the decision-making process. Ability to challenge and validate the results with relevant business owners - Working Experience.
- Benchmark - Ability to keep current on business information and trends related to the function and identify opportunities and risks for SBM; Ability to translate knowledge and understanding of external requirements in a variety of regulatory landscapes into SBM policies & procedures. - Working Experience.
- Business Partnering - Ability to position your function as strategic, trusted adviser and change agent who works collaboratively with business unit/functional leaders, while managing risk in the execution of the activities related to your function.
