$1000 Retention BonusAMHC’s Children's Crisis Stabilization Unit in Fort Fairfield is actively recruiting Full-Time Children’s Crisis Counselors. The CCSU Crisis Counselors provide 24/7 emergency support in the form of intervention and stabilization services. This is a 365-day-per-year service used for immediate, short-term, acute care to prevent out-of-home placement and psychiatric hospitalization for children and youth.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Associates degree and
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule and work evenings and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Demonstrate the Integrity of AMHC by Identifying and developing plans that include Focused Services that will meet clients and their guardians' goals and needs
- Provide Compassionate supervision, supportive counseling, and assistance to those experiencing family and/or psychiatric crisis
- Respectfully Educate clients in decision-making, problem-solving, and developing and utilizing coping skills
- Collaborate with other services to create an aftercare plan
- Complete all paperwork, and quality assurance duties with Excellence in order to maintain the high level of services AMHC offers to our community
