About the role

Ford Business Solutions is looking for a

Senior Credit Control Analyst 

to join our Ford Customer Service (FCSD) Finance team in our Szentendre office.

As Senior Credit Control Analyst you will be responsible for conducting in-depth credit analysis of Ford dealers, Fleet, and B2B customers mainly on Big5 (largest and most strategic) markets, utilizing financial data, key performance indicators, and external bureau information to assess creditworthiness and borrowing capacity. This includes determining appropriate risk mitigation actions and executing strategies to minimize credit risk exposure for FCSD-E. You will have the authority to make customer trade credit related decisions and will be responsible for regular credit watch tasks, supporting aged receivables recovery, and maintaining close communication with key contacts in Finance, Accounting, Sales, and Marketing.

What will be your roles and responsibilities in the team?

  • Annual Credit Limit Reviews: Support the Credit Control team with dealer related annual reviews, ensuring accurate assessments of financial trends and credit risks.
  • Daily Monitoring & Reporting: Implement and monitor the direct sales to independent repairers in the UK/Italy and provide daily oversight of customer credit risk and liquidity issues.
  • Harmonization of Credit Control Approach: Work closely with Ford Credit, Treasury, Accounts Receivables, and local teams to standardize credit control practices across Europe, while complying with market-specific requirements and local laws.
  • Risk Mitigation: Analyze financial data to assess customer creditworthiness and propose measures to reduce potential losses (e.g., payment terms, pre-payments, letters of credit).
  • Financial Analysis & Decision Making: Review and analyze financial data from Ford dealers and customers to make informed credit decisions
  • Strategy Execution: Control and implement strategies to minimize credit risk exposure, including daily management of receivables and aged accounts.
