We are offering an exciting opportunity as Senior Health & Safety Specialist Generations to be an important part in paving the way for Vattenfall and its customers and partners towards a fossil free future! 

As Senior Health & Safety Specialist Generations you will be responsible for providing independent, expert and professional support, advice and guidelines to site management on all health and safety related issues, actively participate in and promoting a high standard of health, safety and environmental awareness and culture at the site/s.

The H&S department for Offshore Projects and O&M consist of about 25 people. We are responsible to ensure that the H&S mission and vision of the organization (including the high level policy) gets properly implemented and lived-up to. We have a certified Health and Safety Management System, for which each member requires to support its implementation throughout the appointed sites.

Our long-term vision is to drive the sites and projects to a proficient maturity, where H&S is part of the DNA, and accidents are avoided at all times. Within the team we have a high focus on team development, where over the coming year significant attention will be provided to our team purpose of becoming a “high performing, reliant and resilient H&S team”.

What will you do?

As our new Senior Health & Safety Specialist Generations you will be employed in the Health and Safety Offshore department but working at site, coordinating the work with the site management. 

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Further implement the Vattenfall Health & Safety management system within the offshore generation sites and contribute to updating existing site/s and regional specific processes, procedures and instructions according to requirements from site/s and region
• Drive a culture of using and maintaining relevant processes, procedures and instructions in HoW
• Drive and report upon the Health and Safety Performance, including incident management, and maturity within the generation site organisation
• Support the site/s and region with legal compliance and promoting awareness of legal requirements
• Engage with site and Central HS function to develop the HS plan and strategy
• Safety inspections/walks, incident investigations and root cause analysis (vessel, SOV, WTG, OSS, Site/Hub facilities, helicopter facilities etc.)
• Documentation of safety inspections/walks
• Support and plan, executions of emergency exercises and Emergency Response Plan (execute and follow up)
• Roll-out, participate and follow up of HS related campaigns both on- and offshore and on vessels
• Participate in and support toolbox talks, performance meetings, briefings etc.
• Participate in site/s HS meetings and all other relevant HS meetings
• Support in the H&S component of contractor management processes (procurement, contractor performance evaluation, audits, etc.) related to the generation site

Location

Work location Klintholm/Copenhagen in Denmark or alternatively Malmö in Sweden for our site Danish Kriegers Flak. Some travel offshore might occur.
