In this area, our mission is to understand the unique needs of our individual clients, to best protect and develop their wealth according to their personal objectives and to translate the global expertise of Deutsche Bank Group’s markets into pro-active and relevant advice.</p><p></p><p>Job Mission</p><p> You will be member of the global Political Affairs team of Deutsche Bank which is located in Frankfurt, Berlin, Brussels, London, Washington D.C. and New York. The team is responsible for the early identification and creation of awareness of political agendas and regulatory developments with an impact on Deutsche Bank’s business strategy. Political Affairs coordinates the development and delivery of bank-wide advocacy positions as the basis for the bank’s adequate representation in legislative processes. The division determines the bank's advocacy strategy, manages Deutsche Bank's relationships with key policymakers and regulators, and serves as a source of political and regulatory insights for the bank’s senior management across divisions. The position is based in Belgium (Brussels).</p><p></p><p></p><p>Key Accountabilities</p><p> As a Senior Policy Expert for Digital Policies, you report into the Head of Payments &amp; Digital Policy and work in close cooperation with the wider Political Affairs team and relevant areas across the bank. </p><p></p><ul><li>You lead, monitor and analyse regulatory developments relevant for the Bank’s business model in the intersection between technology and finance, including artificial intelligence, data, cloud, digital identity and cybersecurity.</li><li>You prepare regular and ad-hoc briefings for Deutsche Bank’s senior management on current regulatory and policy topics to ensure awareness within the bank.</li><li>You lead the coordination with internal experts to develop consultation responses, policy papers and presentations for internal and external use related to policy initiatives in your area of responsibility.</li><li>You design and deliver effective engagement strategies with internal and external stakeholders; represent DB in relevant (bilateral) meetings and participate in industry events, conferences and hearings.</li><li>You establish and maintain a strong internal and external network with topic experts, industry associations and policy makers</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Key Profile</p><ul><li>Educational qualification: college / university master’s degree in financial services, politics or law</li><li>At least 7-9 years of relevant experience in the financial sector or in public affairs with focus on digital topics</li><li>Strong interest in global financial services and innovation, combined with an affinity for regulation, laws and politics; ability to understand complex and varied policies and a solid business mindset enabling you to identify business risks and opportunities.</li><li>Capable to work and deliver under time pressure, strong desire to deliver high quality, strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion; outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to take initiative and think “out of the box” to solve challenges and unlock new opportunities for the company;</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and network with experts and stakeholders;</li><li>Self-starter with a positive and can-do attitude; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team;</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English, German very welcome, additional language skills an asset.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>We offer you</p><ul><li>International environment with regular interaction with peers in other countries and central functions</li><li>Young, dynamic and innovative work environment</li><li>Attractive and wide scope of tasks</li><li>Interesting salary package (meal vouchers, hospitalization insurance, pension plan, cafeteria plan, ...)</li><li>Corporate culture where client orientation, integrity, partnership and diversity are key values</li><li>Environment where you are encouraged to share your opinions and concerns (speak up culture)</li><li>Flat organizational structure with close collaboration and open communication with management a
