Fair terms that continually beat traditional banks, popular credit cards, and checkout solutions alike.<br/><br/></p><h2>What you'll do</h2><p>As a Senior Backend engineer with focus on the Cloud, you will play a central role in developing and maintaining our core technology. This role is uniquely split: 50% of your time will be dedicated to building and managing our AWS cloud, and the remaining 50% will be focused on backend development.</p><p>In your cloud work, you’ll design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable AWS architectures using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, SAM, or CDK. You’ll take responsibility for platform security, performance, and scalability - ensuring our systems are ready to grow and evolve with us.</p><p>Within backend development, you’ll be building and optimizing backend services and APIs, primarily using Node.js. <br/><br/></p><h2>What we are looking for<br/></h2><p>We create products that solve real-life problems in a simple and honest way, and we’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong AWS Cloud expertise to join us on our mission. You’ll be expected to take ownership of ensuring the platform is secure, scalable, and reliable. Your role will be shaped not just by our needs, but by your interests and imagination.<br/></p><h2>Requirements</h2><p>We’re looking for a senior engineer with a role split evenly between cloud engineering and backend. You should have strong programming and architectural skills, with a sharp focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
