This role is based out of our New York City office and offers a hybrid work option, meaning you can both work from home and commute to a LinkedIn office, depending on what’s best for you and when it is important for your team to be together.
Reporting into Central Operations, the Decision Science team is a centralized, technically skilled group that partners with many other teams across LinkedIn’s Global Business Organization by leading analytics projects, running data analysis, developing dashboards, automating processes, and driving business reviews. Our mission is to leverage data and analytics to enable efficient decision-making and build scalable processes.
As a Senior Associate on the Decision Science team, you will be an individual contributor part of a high-performing team with a strong technical and analytical profile. You will partner with senior leaders and cross-functional partners to understand business needs, find opportunities to innovate at scale, and drive strategic recommendations. You will also use your knowledge and experience in Analytics to evolve current analytical solutions towards predictive and prescriptive insights.
Responsibilities
- Execute global data analytics initiatives including solution design, roadmap development, prioritization, and successful implementation;
- Effectively communicate and develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders to design and implement global solutions to drive productivity and business impact;
- Create and propose solutions to enable better data integrity, reduce complexity, improve technical quality, simplify processes, and increase productivity;
- Lead cross-functional teams on opportunities to achieve common goals.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in a quantitative field – Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc
- 4+ years of experience working with data, systems or tools in a business setting, including data management, data science, analytics, business intelligence, operations, engineering, reporting, or consulting
- 4+ years of experience using data to develop metrics, assess performance, run exploratory analyses, find improvement areas, and generate recommendations to improve business performance
- 4+ years of experience with at least 2 major data analytics tools – e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, PowerBI
Preferred Qualifications
- Track record of driving measurable business impact through technical expertise and business acumen; analytical, structured, systematic and creative problem solver.
- Proven experience working with Order-to-Cash teams (billing, pricing, order management, etc)
- Proven experience leading data & BI initiatives, including data infrastructure, end-to-end solution design, deployment, process transformation, troubleshooting, and data-driven insights.
- Proven experience managing a large, diverse group of stakeholders and driving global projects independently.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $96,000 to $156,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
