Summary of Job Duties:

Graduate students work 10 hours per week. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job duty as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.


Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education;

  • Regular admission to a UA Little Rock graduate degree program or good standing with the UA Little Rock Graduate School for continuing graduate students;

  • Ability to work the required hours (FT-50% - 20 hours per week/ PT-25% - 10 hours per week) with regular attendance.

Preferred Education and/or Experience: 

  • Masters degree;

  • Enrolled in a doctoral program on campus.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Graduate assistants in the School of Nursing work in various capacities, including:

  • Assisting faculty with research;

  • Assisting simulation faculty with data collection;

  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously on a deadline; 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills;

  • Ability to take the initiative and work independently.
