Job Responsibilities
Responsible for providing financial aid counselling/advising to prospects, applicants, students and their families working in collaboration with Student Registration and Financial Services team and leadership.
Maintains accurate financial records of prospects and enrolled students in all financial aid systems for all programs.
Creates and provides projected cost of attendance for incoming and continuing students.
Develops financial aid packages for students using analytical skills and guidance from supervisor/manager.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
High School Grad/GE Degree and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented and accurate.
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills, along with the ability to work within tight and often conflicting deadlines.
Must be flexible, show effective judgement, discretion and have the ability to handle confidential financial matters.
