<div> <div><strong>Benefits:</strong></div> <ul> <li>Free uniforms</li> <li>Health insurance</li> <li>Training &amp; development</li> <li>Vision insurance</li> <li>Wellness resources</li> <li>401(k) matching</li> <li>Bonus based on performance</li> <li>Company car</li> <li>Competitive salary</li> <li>Dental insurance</li> <li>Employee discounts</li> </ul> </div> <div> <div><strong>Summary</strong></div><div>The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day management of construction projects and for delivering a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, subcontractors, resource providers, and company employees involved in performing construction services.</div><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></div><ul> <li>Compile and resolve punch list items</li> <li>Perform final walk-through with customer</li> <li>Secure a signed Completion of Completion and Certificate of Satisfaction from customer</li> <li>Conduct pre-construction meetings with customers</li> <li>Provide project updates (daily narrative) to customers and clients</li> <li>Schedule all subcontractors and material suppliers</li> <li>Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work</li> <li>Document all project activities in the job file in WC 2.0</li> <li>Execute change orders</li> <li>Set expectations on a project-by-project basis</li> <li>Maintain quality standards through site inspections</li> <li>Provide evaluation and rating of all vendors and subcontractors</li> <li>Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions</li> <li>Ensure material suppliers deliver exactly what was purchased</li> <li>Ensure subcontractors complete all work in accordance with their purchase orders</li> <li>Validate schedule and progress</li> <li>Identify areas outside of contracted scope of work</li> </ul><div> </div><div><strong>Education and Experience Requirements</strong></div><ul> <li>High school diploma/GED</li> <li>Superb customer service track record</li> <li>Effective written and oral communication</li> <li>Basic math skills</li> <li>Experience in restoration and/or construction preferred</li> </ul><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Physical and Work Environment Requirements</strong></div><ul> <li>Walking and/or standing throughout the day</li> <li>Frequent driving and sitting</li> <li>Occasionally climbing ladders</li> <li>Occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat</li> <li>The noise level at individual jobsites can be loud</li> </ul><div> <strong><em><u> Ability to successfully complete a Servpro required background check and drug screen subject to applicable law. </u></em></strong><br/><br/> </div><div><strong>Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements</strong></div><div>This is a full-time position, working 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. This position frequently requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day), working on-call, and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.</div><div> </div><div> <strong>Base + Commission: </strong>This position offers a base salary plus a commission structure. Salary range listed refers only to the base salary portion of pay package.  Plus Commission: Eligible for performance-based commission paid on Project Gross Profit (typically 1-4% of GP, with higher rates for stronger project margins).
