About the role

Regions Hospital is seeking a Sr. Neurodiagnostic Tech to work in a full-time position with our Neurodiagnostic Lab.

In this position you will prepare patients for Neurodiagnostic examination procedures and to administer neurodiagnostic tests as prescribed. To maintain logs and records relevant to departmental activities. To clean and maintain equipment. To provide consultation to technologists in subordinate classifications, if applicable and to perform related department duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:

M-F with 1 weekend a month and rotating weekday on-call

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in the Neurodiagnostic field.
  • Certification in END or registration in one of the following areas: EEG (R. EEG T.), Evoked Potentials (R. EP T.), Nerve Conduction (R. NCS T.).
  • 5 years of working experience in the Neurodiagnostic field and become certified in END or obtain one of the above registrations within 18 months. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification/graduate of an END program accredited by the Committee of Allied Health Education is preferred. An associate degree or higher from an accredited college is preferred.
