Thank you for your interest in the Prescott Lab. Our lab exclusively conducts human behavior research. There is no wet lab, and we do not provide any bench science experience. The hourly rate for this position $15.60-$16.26, depending on experience.   We are seeking undergraduate research assistants to join the Nourish Team. Nourish is a randomized controlled trial evaluating a food and cooking skills intervention, which includes in-person classes located in the CWRU Teaching Kitchen, grocery and cooking tool provision, and social support via GroupMe.   We are seeking dependable, hardworking undergraduate students with attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ideally, training or experience in nutrition or cooking/culinary arts/food service. Our research participants reside in Cuyahoga County and are very diverse in terms of age, race, ethnicity, cooking experience, health risks, education levels, and access to food. It is very important that all members of the Nourish team have the ability to communicate and collaborate with people from a variety of cultures and social contexts.   You may want to check out this 1 minute video that some current Nourish RAs made to help applicants get a feel for what it is like to be on our team.   Thank you for your interest in Nourish!
