Overview
The Kemin team is seeking a Senior Technical Services Manager to join their global enzymes team! This unique position plays a pivotal role in supporting man of our business units with key projects. You will have the opportunity to provide technical support for the full commercialization of new technologies and products. Analysis required by this position is to evaluate industry trends and fully analyze Kemin’s business position then developing business strategies that position Kemin favorably in these markets. Special project assignment for this position will typically be related to the technical areas of product launches. This position may occasionally be assigned to evaluation of acquisition targets.
The ideal candidate will be a confident thought leader with a high degee of curoisty. They must have considerable experience with nutritional formulation. Additionally, this individual must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 60%.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the Customer Strategic Planning process by assisting Sales employees in development of their strategic plans and develop the Industry Specific Strategic plan.
- Monitor effectiveness of presentations and product positioning as reflected in sales results and make necessary adjustments to achieve budget commitments.
- Development of budgets and allocating all resources to ensure attainment of strategic initiatives.
- Responsible for developing experimental protocols, initiate tests with customers, and coordinate testing parameters with Research and Development and with Customer Laboratory Services and report findings to customers in a confidential, standard format.
- Responsible for customer business development, new product evaluation and testing, current product line extension development (Product Innovation Process).
- Responsible for identifying customer opportunities and resolving customer/product technical problems.
- Responsible for maintaining large trial documentation on all assigned trials.
