As the Manager/Senior Manager in Policy and Regulatory Planning, you'll play a crucial role in facilitating executive communication and presentations on future scenarios and their implications. Your responsibilities will include engaging extensively with customers and stakeholders, balancing their feedback to inform decision-making processes. Additionally, you'll be tasked with identifying regulatory or stakeholder issues and leading your team to devise innovative solutions to achieve desired outcomes, all while maintaining the highest standards of integrity with MISO and its stakeholders in mind.

In your first year in this role, you'll gauge your success by achieving the following milestones:

• Identifying, proposing, and potentially implementing process enhancements to support the Policy and Regulatory Planning area.
• Engaging in extensive collaboration with stakeholders to define, develop, and manage the balance between stakeholder feedback and MISO policy decisions.
• Prioritizing team development and fostering a deeper understanding of departmental goals among team members.

We seek candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in the energy industry.
• At least two years of formal leadership experience.

While not mandatory, the following attributes would be highly desirable:

• A Master's degree.
• Demonstrated proficiency in coaching and developing team members.
• Experience with Plexos or other policy planning tools.
• Expertise in Power Systems engineering, Environmental issues management, engineering economics, and applying regulatory requirements.

Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.
