Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree 

Experience with teh State Travel System (STMS) and Ariba on Demand (AOD)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The employee must be productive under tight timeframes, balance multiple and competing priorities and maintain goal-directed behavior and performance, sometimes under stressful conditions. The employee must be able to work independently and interact courteously with others. The employee’s performance and behavior must demonstrate consideration of the workload concerns of others and must not negatively affect productivity and morale of the unit. Attendance is an essential function of this position. The omission of specific statements does not preclude additional specific duties, such as required travel, not listed herein if such duties are a logical assignment to this position. * Travel is required to attend quarterly meetings in various locations around the state.
This position provides the following support to staff and the Council:
• Provides administrative support to the FRC Program Administrator.
• Assists FRC Program Administrator in development of meeting agendas.
• Takes minutes for all FRC meetings.
• Processes and responds to routine correspondence, investigates subject matter and prepares appropriate responses.
• Prepares pre- travel and travel reimbursements for staff and members.
• Coordinates with council members, the DOE travel office and DVR Vendor Registration unit to create profiles for new
members in the STMS travel system.
• Negotiates, develops, finalizes and routes contracts for in- person meetings, as needed.
• Develops and completes authorizations, purchase orders and goods and services in MFMP including, but not
limited to, for: audio visual services, CART services, interpreter services and other needed required authorization
orders for council and staff support.
• Disseminates information to council members and management, as needed.
• Assist maintaining distribution lists, tracking of training and informational materials, mail distribution, and office
supplies.
• Prepares travel reimbursement for members. Develops, routes and finalizes hotel contracts for approval. Develops
and completes authorizations (audio visual services, CART services and other needed services) for Council support.
• Prepares budget report for Administrator review.
This position assists the FRC and other DVR staff by researching, coordinating, developing and evaluating information shared between DVR, other governmental agencies, community partners, vendors, and contractors to include but not limited to:
• State Plans
• Needs Assessment Survey
• Strategic Plans of action
• Customer Feedback Survey
This position collects and analyzes information for DOE/DVR staff, FRC members and FRC meetings. Assists with developing, reviewing, and revising guidelines, policies, procedures, management practices, proposed legislation, and related directives. Uses appropriate software to design and prepare reports,
