Job Description

HII- Mission Technologies is looking for a Program Personnel Security Specialist in Honolulu, HI. 

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Provides technical security support to for government and DoD programs. 
  • Interpreting, implementing and administering security policy 
  • Monitoring management of personnel access quotas, program access request processing, first tier adjudication performance and periodic reinvestigation processing
  • Conducting program indoctrinations and debriefings. 
  • Perform classification review of outgoing documents, electronic media and equipment 
  • Assist in the development of classification guidance 
  • Advice on facility design review and construction criteria 
  • Assemble data for preparation of physical security Inspectable Space Determination (TEMPEST) packages, AIS and physical security packages 
  • Develop and implement facility operating procedures; prepare Co-Utilization Agreements
  • Maintain physical security, AIS, and TEMPEST records
  • Administer OPSEC process to determine appropriate countermeasures

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Experience in personnel security, facility security, or a related field. 
  • Demonstrated understanding of security policies and procedures for government and DoD programs (can be through coursework, training, or relevant experience). 
  • Familiarity with personnel security access controls, including quotas, program access requests, and adjudication processes. 
  • Ability to learn and apply security regulations (e.g., DoDM 5200.1, DoDM 5200.2) with guidance from senior personnel. 
  • Strong analytical skills for reviewing classifications of documents, electronic media, and equipment. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to conduct program briefings and debriefings. 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy for maintaining security records.
  • Clearance- Must possess and maintain a SECRET clearance with the ability to get a TS/SCI
