3rd Shift Forklift Operator/Warehouse Person

3rd Shift - 11pm - 7am.

Responsible for the accurate and efficient supply of materials and equipment being moved to and from specified areas, as specified by the warehouse guidelines.

1. Operates equipment including but not limited to a lift truck and tractor trailer in accordance with good safety practices.

1. Keeps assigned equipment in good, clean, and safe condition, reporting any mechanical problems to the Warehouse Manager immediately.

1. Removes product from Production and places it in its’ proper space in the Warehouse.
2. Re-arranges and/or stacks away production from the preceding shift, if necessary.
3. Performs all duties related to the Warehouse operation.
4. Assists Quality Assurance with sample collecting.
5. Responsible for paper counts, product coding and any other necessary paperwork.
6. Must be capable of doing inventory of supplies and set orders.
7. Ensures work area is kept clean and orderly in accordance with good housekeeping practices.
8. Responsible for following food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to:  GMP’s, food safety, product quality, food security, plant security, etc.
9. Adheres to common safety practices and procedures.
10. Performs other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

• Forklift Operation experience - 1 year preferred.
• Position requires moderate to heavy physical exertion
• Ability to communicate clearly
• Basic math skills
• Ability to record data on to a spreadsheet
