Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

TITLE:                  Senior Financial Analyst

LOCATION:         Hybrid. 3 days/week in office & 2 days/week remote

STATUS:              Salaried, Full-time, Year-Round

SCHEDULE:         Monday – Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM. Some nights and weekends.

SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Senior Director of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst provides data analysis, financial modeling, dashboarding, forecasting, and budgeting for Snowbird Resort and its affiliates.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Provide financial analysis support for company initiatives and business development efforts to help identify and evaluate growth and efficiency opportunities at Snowbird.
• Work with business systems and teams to extract, manage, and analyze data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and other reporting tools.
• Assist with reporting, variance analysis, and financial narrative production for monthly, board and other reviews.
• Build and update financial models for business forecasting and assessment.
• Assist in accounting and finance operations as necessary, including operating and capital planning and reporting.
• Serve as Workday Adaptive Planning system administrator, facilitating budget and forecast processes.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field. Additional related work experience may be substituted for education.
• 2-4 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.
• Past experience with financial modeling, business forecasting, and dashboards.
• Solid understanding of GAAP.
• Strong analytical skills and expert level user of MS Excel.
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning preferred.
• Proven ability to hit deadlines and produce high quality business materials in a timely manner.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for details.

WORK SCHEDULE

• Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with some nights and weekends as required by workload and special events.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• General office environment with limited physical activity.
• Option to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
• Occasional contact with guests.
• Direct and continuous contact with co-workers, management and other departments.
• Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.
• Occasional travel to/from resort.
