Sr. Medical Director

Essential Functions:

• Directs the day-to-day operations of the Providers.
• Develops a positive relationship with all medical Providers to ensure access to care for patients and an effective referral and consulting process.
• Fosters a culture central to achieve Spectrum's mission to serve the underserved in a primary care setting
• Immediately investigates patient complaints and incidents
• Ensures that policies and procedures of Spectrum are followed so that SHS is prepared for surveys/inspections.
• Develops staff to achieve high quality services with a high level of patient satisfaction and efficiency.
• Performs annual employee evaluations and competency assessments.
• Attends required meetings and participates on committees as directed.
• Other duties as requested by Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer

Qualifications/Experience

• Licensed MD, DO
• Three years minimum managerial experience
• FQHC experience preferred
