Substitute Food Service Helper

The Syracuse City School District represents 34 schools and 4 alternative education programs and serves over 19,000 students in grades Pre K-12.  78% of SCSD students qualify for free or reduced lunch price, and approximately 20% are served by the Office of Special Education.  77% of the students in the school district are students of color.    LOCATION: This position will work in buildings across the district, as needed.   WORKING HOURS: This position will work on an "as needed" basis.   SALARY/COMPENSATION: The current hourly rate for this position is $15.50 per hour.   QUALIFICATIONS:

• This position requires a minimum education level of High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
• The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint-based background check, at the cost of $102.50 to the candidate.
