<p><span>The CECE/THS Cost Engineer manager will be a GLOBAL MANAGER responsible to manage a worldwide team in charge of providing economic expertise and synthesis on vehicle Thermal System, Cooling, HVAC, Heat Pump perimeter for optimizing technical &amp; commercial performance.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span>Contributes to the company strategy and performance through definition of performance objectives.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span>The Cost Engineer Manager will assist the worldwide teams with technical services to estimate component prices for the new technologies.</span></p> <p><span> </span></p> <p><span><strong><span>MISSION:</span></strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Contribute to the Strategic Vision for Sourcing.</span></li> <li><span>Provide Long-term techno-economical guidance and direction for individuals and projects products.</span></li> <li><span>Stay one step ahead of the product development, challenge and set contacts with components manufacturing and designers.</span></li> <li><span>Hierarchical management of an Organization Unit</span></li> <li><span>Coach, Lead and Guide the Global team</span></li> <li><span>Ensure team compliance with Costing methodology and global convergence cost model application</span></li> </ul> <p><span> </span></p> <p><span><strong><span>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):</span></strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Research relevant market trends, industrial standards, and innovations</span></li> <li><span>Support Cost methodology team in build and maintain techno-economical assessment reference for the perimeter</span></li> <li><span>Support Cost methodology team in build and maintain the regional Model Plant databases</span></li> <li><span>Lead team to evaluate and negotiate TPC, Vendor tooling, ED&amp;D with Suppliers</span></li> <li><span>Contribute to CROSS FUNCTIONAL GROUP with Engineering and Purchasing such as SFG, COMMS, D2C</span></li> <li><span>Perform Competitive Benchmarking and suggest value optimization ideas to programs to ensure the competitiveness of Stellantis solutions</span></li> <li><span>Multicultural environment covering worldwide perimeter</span></li> <li><span>Perform Competitive Benchmarking and suggest value optimization ideas to programs to ensure the competitiveness of Stellantis solutions</span></li> <li><span>Multicultural environment covering worldwide perimeter</span></li> </ul> <strong><span>Qualifications</span></strong> <p><strong><span>Basic Qualifications:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span> Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related scientific field</span></li> <li><span> A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Auto industry</span></li> <li><span> Excellent communication skills and ability to create high quality presentation materials and reports for presentation to management levels</span></li> <li><span> Ability to deal with Negotiation and Conflict in order to challenge and support all internal and external stakeholders</span></li> <li><span> Good Team Building Soft Skills</span></li> <li><span> Must demonstrate a high level of organization and ability to track a high number of workstreams to assign to global team</span></li> <li><span> Proficient in MS Office suite of tools including PowerPoint, Excel and Word</span></li> <li><span> Ability to interface with all levels of the enterprise, across multiple organizations and regions</span></li> </ul> <p><span> </span></p> <p><strong><span>Preferred Qualifications:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span> Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related scientific field</span></li> <li><span> Experience in production facilities along with knowledge of metal stamping and welding processes</span></li> <li><span> Working knowledge of welding line development and the steps required to deliver a solution</span></li> <li><span> Familiarity with Cost Model elements and how to apply Activity Based Costing to component cost development</span></li> </ul>
