We are seeking candidates with expertise on both development and system administration.       What makes this role interesting?       Strategic Leadership: Be at the forefront of ensuring the high reliability and availability of the Talend Cloud platform, leading the charge in designing and developing effective tooling, automation, and documentation.       Innovative Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Architecture, Platforms, and Domains, to spearhead the design and evangelization of Cloud-related best practices and optimizations.       Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance to fellow operations engineers and development teams, offering mentorship on Cloud/backend technologies, production service operations, reliability, scalability, performance, and capacity.       Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:        Reliability Enhancement: Ensure the high reliability and availability of the Talend Cloud platform.       Collaborative Innovation: Lead the design and development of effective tooling, automation, and documentation.       Optimization Advocacy: Spearhead the design and evangelization of Cloud-related best practices and optimizations to improve reliability, scalability, and performance.       We’re looking for a teammate with:       

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field. 
• Experience in planning and leading projects, demonstrating accountability for ongoing deliveries and activities. 
• Confirmed experience with IaC/configuration mgmt./systems automation tools at scale (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, etc.). 
• Practical experience in Cloud engineering/architecture (at least one from AWS or Azure) and microservices domain (Docker, Kubernetes). 
• Strong analytical skills for solving complex problems and identifying broad perspectives for possible solutions. 
• Experience in incident management coupled with effective communication skills. 
• Practical experience with Agile software development methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, etc.). 
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in scripting/automation (Bash, Python, Go, etc.). 
• Proficiency in English communication, both oral and written. 
• Experience working within a distributed international Agile team environment.
