In order to support our development in the transition to the low-carbon we need to strengthen our Technological Lines on Low/Free Carbon Energies, Syngas and  Fertilizers, Circularity and Bio-Technologies, we are currently looking for  Senior Process Engineers to join our team based in Rome office, Italy. 

You will work in the Process Department with the mission to promote innovation and contribute to the development of advanced low carbon technological solutions. 

You will report hierarchically to the Process Section/Department Head and operationally to the Process/Project Manager.   

 

About the Job

 

Under the responsibility of the Process Manager/Department Head, you will be in charge of:

• Coordinate the project process design activities, in all project phases starting from conceptual design up to the detailed engineering phase 

• Manage external interfaces with the customer, suppliers, subcontractors for all technological related aspects

• Coordinating with the project management, engineering and construction team for project execution.

• Support the Technological Lines in the R& D activities, including techno scouting and research activities with university.   

• Support in the preparation of technical proposals.

After an initial on-boarding period working on project execution as senior process engineer, you will be gradually involved for supporting the relevant Technological Lines activities.

About You

We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

You have at least 5+ year of successful experience in process design (simulation, PFD, equipment data sheet and P&IDs preparation)

Qualifications: Master Degree in Chemical Engineering 

Languages: English (Professional)

 

Main Skills: 

• Knowledge of process design methods and tools, familiar with process simulators softwares (ASPEN, Hysys, PROII, others).   
• Familiar with managing all aspects of process engineering design
• Must be able to work independently and within a team;
• Good communication skills
