Radiology Tech Extender

Overview

 This position performs a variety of duties in the provision of quality care during the patient?s experience in Radiology. This position assists and supports the imaging staff in the completion of procedures. Talent Pool; Allied Health

 

Responsibilities

 

 Assists technologists to include CHL functions(minimum registration), PACS application and positioning patient for respective exam. --------------------------------------------------Handles and appropriately directs all phone calls. May assist with making call reminders to patients for scheduled exams.--------------------------------------------------Transports patients safely using Two for Two, Safe Lift techniques,hand hygiene, and PPE. Escorts outpatients. Uses Teletracking for patient transport.--------------------------------------------------Cleans and stocks procedure rooms.--------------------------------------------------Assists with QA/QC activities as directed.--------------------------------------------------Greets patients and visitors using the AIDET Protocol.--------------------------------------------------

Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:High School Diploma or equivalent

 

EXPERIENCE:1 year of related hospital experience, Preferred

 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIREDBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider PREFERRED
