Responsibilities

Join the WINNING TEAM at IGT Global! IGT is seeking a Lottery Field Services Technician in Jackson, MS. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our award-winning lottery services organization, servicing IGT equipment at retailer (customer) locations.

Your role in Maintaining equipment is crucial to the continuous operation of IGT equipment. You will be an important part of our mission to provide reliable services to our customers.

Effective and efficient communication with Dispatchers is a key part of the role. Your ability to accurately report activity, arrival and departure times, problems, details, and resolutions of failures to Dispatch will be integral to our team's success

• Responsible for transporting, installing (if applicable), and maintaining IGT equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner.

• Attend driver training and follow IGT vehicle policy regarding the use and maintenance of the company vehicle.

• Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment to restore it to working order in the field. This may include swapping failed equipment, cleaning it, and minor adjustments to the malfunctioning component.

• Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts such as paper, ribbons, bet slips, etc., and track inventory of these items.

• Deliver basic training to new Retailers or refresher/remedial training to Retailers performing procedures incorrectly, such as changing paper and ribbon.

• Complete primary forms for reporting activities, equipment problems, recommendations for procedure improvements, etc.

Qualifications

• Your high school degree or GED equivalent is a testament to your dedication and will be a strong foundation for your role with us.

• One or more years of experience in a customer service-related position

• One or more years of experience in technical repairs

• Must possess a valid driver's license, have a good driving record, and demonstrate the ability to perceive colors correctly.

• Physical Requirements: Must be able to climb a ladder and lift and carry equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds for a significant distance (e.g., from a parked vehicle to a point within the Retailer's location or the rooftop of the retailer's location). Must be able to sit and drive for prolonged periods, demonstrate skill when working with tools, and work with moving parts and electrical current.
