About the role
Position Description
Handles incoming and outgoing materials to support production requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Resolves exceptions to incoming materials processing
- Processes customer returns in business related software and work with other departments to resolve
- Monitors production and insure sufficient inventory is on-hand and available as needed
- Works with various departments to fulfill customer needs including maintaining customer orders and expediting incoming orders
- Responsible for the coordination of, and accuracy of cycle counting
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Skills Requirements
- Ability to safely and efficiently operator forklift
- Computer skills including; Excel and SAP
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
High School diploma
General Education Degree
Experience Requirements
- Previous material handling experience preferred
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Some physical demand; often lifts light weight material. Rarely lifting/moving average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Exposure to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
