Position Overview


The Learning and Administrative Coordinator is a non-exempt position responsible for supporting both Interactive Nephrology and Metrolina Nephrology by managing learning systems, coordinating Provider onboarding, and handling administrative logistics. This role ensures efficient course execution, smooth onboarding experiences, and accurate record-keeping while enhancing overall operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently.


Key Responsibilities


Learning Management & Course Support

  • Manage course creation, participant registration, and tracking for Interactive Nephrology’s learning platform.
  • Ensure compliance with AANP standards and maintain accurate training records
  • Distribute course materials, oversee test administration, and track participant progress.

Onboarding & Orientation

  • Schedule and facilitate Provider onboarding sessions, ensuring all required materials and logistics are in place.
  • Order lab coats, name tags, business cards, and other onboarding supplies.
  • Serve as a liaison for new hires, connecting them with resources and key contacts.
  • Prepare and distribute welcome announcements for new providers.

Meeting & Event Coordination

  • Organize/support Provider and Interactive Nephrology meetings, including scheduling, room reservations, and agenda preparation.
  • Collect and distribute meeting materials, ensure recordings are uploaded, and track completion for required training.

Administrative & Data Management

  • Maintain and update provider rosters, directories, and schedules to ensure accurate records
  • Create and distribute monthly newsletters and employee recognition communications (birthdays, anniversaries, milestones).
  • Assist with general administrative support tasks to enhance department efficiency.




Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in administration, healthcare, or education.
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical office, training environment, or learning management system (LMS) administration.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.
