SAP BODS (Information Steward) Specialist

We are seeking an experienced SAP BODS Specialist with a focus on SAP Information Steward to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP data analysis, cleansing, and integration, with a proven track record in utilizing SAP Information Steward and BODS to ensure data quality and accuracy. The specialist will be responsible for writing Business Process Documents (BPDs), functional specifications, and Configuration Designs related to data analysis and cleansing. Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry is highly desirable for this role. The candidate should possess the ability to conduct Explore Phase workshops and demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• SAP Data Analysis and Cleansing: Utilize SAP BODS and Information Steward expertise to analyze and cleanse data, ensuring high data quality and integrity across various SAP systems and modules.
• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive Business Process Documents (BPDs), functional specifications, and Configuration Designs related to data analysis and data cleansing processes.
• Data Quality Implementation: Design and implement effective data cleansing processes using SAP BODS and Information Steward, ensuring accurate and reliable data for business operations.
• Aerospace and Defense Industry Experience: Leverage prior experience in the Aerospace and Defense sector to understand industry-specific data challenges and provide tailored solutions.
• Explore Phase Workshops: Conduct Explore Phase workshops to gather requirements, analyze data-related issues, propose solutions, and gain stakeholders' approval for the proposed approaches.
• Communication: Facilitate effective communication with clients, project stakeholders, and team members through clear and concise verbal and written communication.
• Problem-Solving: Address complex data challenges and provide innovative solutions to improve data quality and enhance data integration processes.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and meet project objectives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP data analysis, cleansing, and integration, with a focus on SAP Information Steward and BODS.
• Proven experience in writing Business Process Documents (BPDs), functional specifications, and Configuration Designs related to data analysis and cleansing.
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing SAP data cleansing processes.
• Prior experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Explore Phase workshops and the ability to conduct them effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective collaboration with clients and project stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to address complex data challenges.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
