Teya was born in 2019 and is home to over 2,000 employees in 15+ countries. We've built a fast-paced, energetic, and innovative environment that is dedicated to bringing the best solutions to customers.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be a senior and key addition to our Finance team.<br/> You will be responsible for leading the month end close financial reporting process and provide support to the Group Financial Controller in developing the governance framework and introduction of efficient and effective financial processes to the rapidly growing business.<br/>  </p><p>●       Reporting to the regional financial controller.</p><p>●       Responsible for Statutory accounting of Czech Legal entity including financial reporting to the group.</p><p>●       Cooperation with Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, and General Ledger team.</p><p>●       Performing controls over the general ledger and payables/receivables tasks.</p><p>●       Cooperating with Finance to manager to set up new accounting team.</p><p>●       Cooperation across the group to implement to new processes.</p><p>●       Aligning process and making sure that group processes are in line with local accounting and tax standards.</p><p>●       Cooperating with accountants on accounts closing.</p><p>●       Working on complex finance and accounting tasks.</p><p>●       Assisting with annual audit preparations.</p><p>●       Investigating and resolving audit finding, account discrepancies.</p><p>●       Performing other ad hoc accounting duties.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>●       Experience from a multinational company with distributed function for general ledger, accounts payable, account receivable.</p><p>●       Perfect knowledge of Czech Accounting Standards and Czech Taxes (mainly VAT).</p><p>●       Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.</p><p>●       Ability to work in rapidly changing start-up environment.</p><p>●       At least 3-5 years of experience with accounting or in auditing.</p><p>●       Fluent in English and Czech.</p><p>●       Excellent MS Excel skills and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.</p><p>●       Detail-oriented individual who is hard-working, quick learner, self-motivated and takes ownership the projects.</p><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>The Perks</strong></p><ul><li>We acknowledge that 20 days of vacation is just not enough, so employees in Czechia can enjoy up to <strong>26 vacation days a year;</strong></li><li>Teyans can use up to <strong>3 fully compensated health days</strong> a year;</li><li><strong>Universal Stock Option Plan</strong> (USOP) from your first day - company stocks for <strong>every year</strong> you have been with us;</li><li><strong>Benefit Plus Cafeteria, </strong> you receive 2000 points every month to spend on thousands of benefits in the categories of travel &amp; recreation, sport, culture (cinemas, theatres, festivals), books, education (courses), and health (psychotherapy);</li><li>Frequent team events &amp; activities in the office and outside;</li><li>Possibility to travel to other offices around Europe;</li><li>Office fruits and speciality coffee every day;</li><li>We also have phone tariffs and provide employees with high quality laptops;</li><li>Friendly, comfortable and informal office environment - take a break in our <strong>relaxing room with Playstation 5</strong> or score a match at <strong>table football</strong> with your colleague;</li><li>Flexible working hours as long as it suits you and your team.</li><li><p><strong>All CVs and supporting documents must be submitted in English.</strong></p></li></ul>
