Senior Solutions Engineer

Nextworld, named #1 “Best Place to Work” in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 by the Denver Business Journal, is a high-growth software development company based entirely in the Denver Tech Center and is looking to hire a highly motivated Senior Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. 

In this high-visibility role, this person will be a member of our presales Solution Engineering team, working with our Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Alliances teams to present Nextworld’s applications features, primarily through our no-code cloud platform. 

Nextworld builds a forward-thinking, no-code, cloud-based development and runtime platform with robust capabilities for enterprise applications.   

NOTE:  100% fully remote.

Responsibilities:

• Actively maintain in-depth Nextworld product and functional knowledge across Nextworld applications (e.g., distribution, ERP, platform). 
• Work alongside members of the Sales and Partner teams (direct and indirect). 
• Effectively discuss and present our solutions and their value to prospective customers via live presales software demonstrations and presentations, including product future directions. 
• Working knowledge of value engineering sales approach presentation model. 
• Help develop and maintain current product value propositions, the experiences that support them, and the product attributes that underpin these experiences. 
• Develop and design reusable demonstration content across areas of product responsibility for internal use and partner ecosystem. 
• Work with Marketing (creative and content) to bring the value proposition and product differentiators to life through explainer and demo videos. 
• Meet with prospective customers for discovery and site surveys of functional requirements and design solutions to meet their business needs. 
• Comfortable engaging at the executive level and collaborating on multi-year business strategies with prospects and customers. 
• Respond to and help develop proposals concerning product/solution. 
• Maintain knowledge of Nextworld’s key differentiators, both functional and technical – platform, architecture, extensibility, integrations. 
• Maintain awareness of relevant 3rd party complementary products as well as competitive products and technologies. 
• Communicate marketplace requirements and roadmap requests with Product Marketing and Product Development. 

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years' experience in a similar role with ERP, EAP (Enterprise Application Platform), or related business solutions applications 
• Enterprise ERP experience with Infor, JDE, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, or similar 
• Experience with software platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, or OutSystems highly desired.   
• Possess strong industry and technical knowledge to support customers’ complex business processes around automation of those processes with ERP/EAP environments 
• Strong enterprise software demonstration and presentation skills 
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, from user level to executives 
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office products 
• Ability and willingness to travel, as necessary 

Starting Salary Range: $130K - $155K per year

We build the no-code enterprise application platform (a.k.a. “EAP”) that is used by Nextworld’s customers and partners to create and run enterprise-grade business solutions. We have a knack for abstracting complex technical concepts into no-code facilities that are straightforward to use.  The Platform allows for the development and execution of involved, integrated business applications — complete with workflow, business logic, eventing, external callouts, notifications, various user experiences, artificial intelligence, and more. Examples of applications suites built on the Platform are enterprise financials, sales, inventory, manufacturing, and real estate.
