Job Description
As a Business Support Analyst on Wellmark's Sales Operations and Enablement team, you will serve as a key member of the team, supporting the applications and systems that enable Wellmark's sales organization and external producer partners to successfully sell, renew, and manage business. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendor partners, providing day-to-day production support, troubleshooting system issues, and helping prioritize solutions that improve the user experience. You will support critical sales platforms, largely those systems used by Wellmark’s agents and consultants, while analyzing production trends, coordinating testing activities, documenting business requirements, and ensuring timely communication of issue resolutions. Success in this role requires balancing operational support with continuous improvement efforts to help deliver efficient, reliable, and innovative sales technology solutions.
We are seeking a curious, analytical problem solver who enjoys understanding how systems work and translating business needs into effective solutions. The ideal candidate has experience supporting business applications, gathering and validating requirements, performing user acceptance testing, and collaborating across technical and non-technical teams. You excel at investigating issues, identifying root causes, and determining whether challenges can be solved through process improvements, training, or technology enhancements. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential. Experience working with sales, customer-facing, or vendor-supported systems is valuable, as is an aptitude for learning new technologies and adapting to evolving tools, including AI-enabled solutions that enhance user experiences and data-driven decision-making. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, builds strong relationships, and brings a continuous improvement mindset to everything they do.
