About the role

As a Senior IT Project Manager with NationaLease, you will join a driven, collaborative team within an ambitious, entrepreneurial organization. You will be responsible for the overall strategic planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions for NationaLease. This newly created, mission-critical role will serve as an IT leader to the broader NationaLease organization, directing IT operations to meet customer requirements, support the maintenance of existing applications, and develop new technical solutions.

This key position reports directly to the President, NationaLease, and works directly with Members, National Account Customers, and staff members as a resource and advocate, delivering efficient & effective technology-enabled solutions. As a Senior IT Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Analyzing complex business needs presented by NationaLease management, the user community, customers, and members, and recommending technical solutions
  • Remaining well informed of technological advances and best practices, and proactively identifying opportunities to optimize NationaLease technology-enabled services
  • Partnering with NationaLease executive leadership on building a technical roadmap, including project identification and delivery prioritization
  • Gathering and approving all business requirements for technical solutions
  • Designing and presenting project plans to senior leadership
  • Managing technical projects from inception to launch to adoption, ensuring regular communication cadence with senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Directing vendors and internal resources in executing production tasks according to a documented schedule that meets or exceeds project plan expectations
  • Partnering and collaborating with Corcentric IT team members to leverage internal resources
  • Performing liaison duties between users, operations, and programming personnel in the areas of systems design, modifications, and troubleshooting
  • Educating and assisting members with data collection, maintenance, translation, and submission of required data to NationaLease
  • Ensuring the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions
  • Participating on all hardware and software evaluations and maintaining vendor contracts
  • Acting as a technology subject matter expert in company staff meetings, representing NationaLease best interests
  • Answering questions and inquiries from members regarding technology applications and assisting whenever possible
  • Working with leadership to present NationaLease technology solutions to National Accounts
  • Assisting National Account customers in utilizing various data platforms
  • Working closely with vendors and members on developing specifications for integration projects
  • Developing, managing, and maintaining the centralized billing and customer reporting platforms
  • Developing relationships with NationaLease members, and National Account customers
  • Acting as a resource to National Account team, members, and customers, advising on best practices and supporting member goals

Requirements

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or comparable career experience
  • Extensive experience leading technical projects
  • Experience in the most current technologies and products used in the industry, with broad knowledge of relevant technology and technical applications
  • Advanced leadership capabilities, with the ability to partner effectively with various organizational levels, including executive leaders
  • Demonstrable self-starter mindset, with an autonomous work ethic
  • Strong influencing skills, with the ability to direct resources towards desired outcomes and results
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience identifying and managing IT vendors and resources
  • Excellent organizational skills, with demonstrable experience implementing projects on time and within budget
  • Collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Broad knowledge of business operations, with an autonomous, self-starter work ethic
  • Ability to travel as needed
