Job Description
Security Manager plans, directs and coordinates activities relating to the protection, safeguarding and security of company assets and customer programs.
Responsible for the administration and coordination of the DOD or other industrial security programs and activities that are in compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified, controlled unclassified, or proprietary materials, documents and equipment in coordination with government agencies or the company’s guidelines.
Administers oversite and compliance related procedures with specified national security related Closed and Restricted Areas. Reviews and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
Prepares training that outlines regulations and establishes procedures for handling, storing and keeping records. Assists in granting designated personnel with a need-to-know requirement, access to restricted records and materials.
Performs status checks on current investigations, determines upcoming reinvestigation dates and relays that information back to each employee or company personnel that have a need-to-know.
Interfaces with government customers on security related issues. Ensures that classified information entrusted to the company is properly safeguarded as outlined in federal instructions. Responsible for preparation, management and interfacing with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency during audits or otherwise as required.
Qualifications
An understanding of DCSA regulations and processes for achieving and maintain specific certifications. In-depth working knowledge of the 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, “National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual” (NISPOM).
Thorough knowledge of using/applying US Government online programs such as the Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP), Standard Form 86 (SF-86), Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and other online US Government programs.
Excellent oral and written communications skills. The ability to manage others, will serve as a Supervisor for all on-site security personnel, providing guidance and support to employees concerning all security administrative functions, to include performance reviews and employment actions.
An active Top Secret security clearance is required
Additional Information
Compensation: Base pay range is $120,000-145,000 depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a variety of paid leave, such as vacation, sick, bereavement, and FMLA.
