Full time (40 hours weekly)
7:00a -3:30p or 8:00a-4:30p
General Summary
Performs diversified and confidential administrative duties. Requires an intermediate degree of technical and communications/interpersonal skills, knowledge, and ability. May administer/coordinate programs, projects, and/or processes as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Composes from dictation and documents memorandums, policies, committee minutes, manuals, letters, forms, procedures, and other general typing as directed, initiating other correspondence as appropriate.
- Answers telephones, routes callers, takes messages and provides routine information to callers.
- Schedules appointments; maintains and updates daily calendar(s).
- Schedules, coordinates and/or arranges meetings, appointments and/or facilities. Attends meetings and records minutes, as required.
- Collects information needed by leader or team for conferences and/or reports.
- Sets up and maintains files and records which may contain confidential information.
- Takes and transcribes dictation of a highly confidential nature.
- Compiles data for and prepares regularly scheduled or special reports, analyzes and statements.
- Enters and/or retrieves data from established computer files or cloud-based systems using knowledge of various computer software applications.
- Opens and routes incoming mail; distributes correspondence and other material to staff.
- Administers/coordinates programs, projects, and/or processes as assigned.

- The following are nonessential job accountabilities for ADA purposes:
- Makes travel and lodging arrangements directly or through travel agencies.
- Prepares PO payment requests as directed.
- Orders office supplies as necessary.
- Greets and directs visitors.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Associates Degree Business Administration Preferred
Work Experience:
- 2 years Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic Computer Skills
- Transcription Skills
- Excellent Interpersonal/Communication Skills
