What do we expect from you:

• 6+ years of total engineering experience, with at least 2 years as a Senior or Staff Engineer
• Strong commitment to improving user experience through exceptional engineering and attention to detail
• Deep technical knowledge of Android development, including the Android SDK and modern Android architecture patterns
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Coroutines, and Dependency Injection
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and other Jetpack libraries
• Familiarity with modularized app architecture and scalable codebase management
• Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs and handling offline scenarios
• Good understanding of testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
• Awareness of app performance, accessibility, and security best practices
• Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional, and fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

What will you work on:

• Collaborate with product managers, data analysts, designers, and engineers to build, experiment, and A/B test new features using Agile methodology
• Take ownership of end-to-end feature delivery, from design to deployment and monitoring
• Identify and drive technical excellence initiatives to improve code quality, architecture, and overall developer productivity
• Contribute to the evolution of our modern Android app architecture and promote adoption of best practices such as Jetpack Compose and modularization
• Ensure scalability, stability, and performance of the app as it serves millions of users globally
• Act as a mentor and share knowledge with other engineers to foster a strong Android engineering culture
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning
• Advocate for users and champion high standards for app quality and usability

It would be great if you also have:

• Strong knowledge of Android UI/UX design principles and experience building modern interfaces with Jetpack Compose
• Experience with app performance optimization and observability tools
• Interest in mentoring and coaching other engineers
