About the role
Description
We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Lead Medical Assistant to lead our medical assisting team in our Pain Management clinic in Easley, SC. As a key member of our team, you'll oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional patient care, and embody our core values:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead our medical assisting team, ensuring seamless clinic operations.
- Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, injections, and assisting with minor procedures.
- Handle patient inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Coordinate patient appointments, manage patient flow, and ensure timely care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensure HIPAA compliance, and assist with administrative tasks.
- Interprets, implements and educates employees on all practice policies and procedures, as well as clinic policies and procedures
- Establishes and maintains appropriate measures to ensure the safety and security of employees, facilities and equipment
- Monitors staffing levels in relationship to workload and makes adjustments as appropriate
- Assists staff in developing goals and objectives for individual professional growth and demonstrates effective leadership techniques to enhance productivity and employee morale
- Ensures problems, complaints, and regulatory violations are investigated and appropriate action is taken to resolve the issue within the requested time frame
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
- Experience in Pain Management or a similar clinical setting preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
