Commercial HVAC Installer

Description

American Electrician, a local company operating for over 30 years in Colorado Springs, is hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC Install Technician to join our HVAC team. This is a great opportunity to get in with a fast growing business where everyone on the team is valued. Those filling this role will take care of our commercial customers by evaluating their needs, providing options, and performing the work. You must be able to work independently and with others as needed, while being a positive member of the whole team.

Please note: Work will be performed in Pueblo, CO. American Electrician is located in Colorado Springs. Travel to main location may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Install HVAC systems (heating, cooling, ventilation) in commercial buildings, including rooftops, mechanical rooms, and other facilities
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install HVAC ductwork, piping, and other system components
• Perform leak tests, inspections, and system checks to ensure proper operation
• Work closely with project managers and other construction teams to ensure timely and accurate installation
• Adhere to local building codes and safety regulations during installation
• Perform maintenance and service work as needed, including troubleshooting and repairs
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition

Requirements

• Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques
• Commercial HVAC install experience (5+ years)
• Mech 4 and EPA licenses preferred
• NATE certified preferred
• Good character and ability to work with a team and our customers
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Neat, clean and organized
