We’re seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join our growing Tactical Systems Department. Our Tactical Systems department develops cutting-edge, ruggedized military hardware to support operations via air, land, or sea. Our department focuses on tightly integrated, compact sensing and computing technologies to deliver mission critical information. Our products have been deployed and proven across all seven continents in the harshest environments on the planet.
This role will work on projects such as new sensing modules for our Integrated Weather Observation System, advanced sensors and electronics for military vehicles, and power control electronics for RF-based aircraft navigation systems. This role will design circuit boards, develop firmware, identify, and debug issues, and test solutions for a variety of products from conception to production.

Responsibilities:
Design & Development:
- Design quick-turn circuit boards to meet program needs using Altium with Concord Pro to manage the designs and library components.
- Develop firmware using our Common Libraries in C for PIC microcontrollers and VHDL or Verilog for FPGAs. Potential for some ARM based development.
- Develop and review technical data packages for assigned projects.
- Write plans for testing hardware for fielding of prototypes with potential of transitioning prototypes to production.
- Ensure the project's compliance with the applicable Intellisense practices and performance standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Peer Review & Project Support:
- Perform peer circuit and code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to your team members.
- Identify technical issues, propose solutions, and ensure appropriate action is taken to resolve the technical issues.
- Collaborate and communicate with project managers and other project participants, and partner with other senior engineers to ideate development strategies that deliver innovative solutions within project budgets.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- B.S. or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5-8+ years of analog/digital circuit design with firmware development for low power standalone sensor systems.
- Deep technical understanding and proficiency in C programming for microcontrollers and VHDL/Verilog for firmware
