Job Title:  Production Parts Expeditor

Classification: Non-exempt
 

Responsibilities - As a Production Parts Expeditor at United Safety, you will:

• Move materials, parts, and assemblies to and from work locations, while ensuring accuracy or parts and quantities picked in order to meet production schedules
• Proactively work with material handling group to ensure correct priorities and pull schedules are set and followed to meet production targets
• Research parts shortages and work the owner on developing timeline for completion based upon production schedule
• Use skills that you have to lead parts shortage meetings which will include all levels of leadership in the organization 

Requirements

You’re a great fit for this position if this describes you;

• Above average computer skills, particularly excel 
• Experience with and ability to work comfortably in an EPR/MRP system
• Sense of urgency that aligns with operation needs; we have a rapid pace
• Ability to multitask, maintain focus with multiple interruptions, and ability to track and follow- up on multiple part numbers concurrently
• Basic understanding of fabrication processes, highly preferred
