Senior Administrative Assistant

Cytokinetics is a late-stage, specialty cardiovascular biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing and commercializing first-in-class muscle activators and next-in-class muscle inhibitors as potential treatments for debilitating diseases in which cardiac muscle performance is compromised. As a leader in muscle biology and the mechanics of muscle performance, the company is developing small molecule drug candidates specifically engineered to impact myocardial muscle function and contractility.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Contractor Senior Administrative Assistant to support the Executive Assistant to our Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain & Technical Operations at Cytokinetics. This individual will help support key administrative responsibilities in partnership with our Executive Assistant of Global Supply Chain & Technical Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling complex, global meetings across the Global Supply Chain & Technical Operations team

• Support travel logistics, including bookings for industry conferences and site visits (domestic and international), and assist with timely expense reporting

• Format and prepare professional documents and presentations for both internal & external meetings

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure the SVP and EA stay ahead of deadlines, action items, and strategic priorities

• Assist with administrative tasks such as invoice routing, PO tracking, and vendor onboarding coordination in systems such as SAP Concur

• Act as a liaison between departments to help streamline communications and logistics

Qualifications

• 7+ years of administrative experience, with at least 1 year in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environment

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines

• Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and tools such as Zoom, Teams, Concur, SAP, or similar enterprise platforms

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
