WHAT THE ROLE DELIVERS  

The Business Intelligence Specialist supports Region America Molding Compound commercial strategies in alignment with the global marketing strategy. This role will report into the Business Intelligence Manager and work closely with regional and global Sales Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, Controllers and Customer Service.  This position will perform analysis and reporting and manage projects and processes that support sales and financial objectives of Molding Compounds. These responsibilities will assist to drive strategy, decision making and internal control of the business.  

 

 

 WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • Pricing, including quotes, reporting and analysis, intelligence, changes, and uploads. 

  • UPA Management Tool including master data maintenance.  

  • Sales forecasting process, SAP APO Superuser. 

  • Prepare monthly sales reporting analysis, commentary, and master data maintenance. 

  • Collect, verify, and report market and competitive intelligence from various sources including trade organizations, import/export reports and industry reports. Provide strong explanations and variance analysis. 

  • Inventory Analysis. 

  • Mid Term Plan and expense budget assistance. 

  • LEO Credit Upon Proof of Sale processing. 

  • CRM Expert Power User.  

  • Regional and Global Market Review. 

  • Support regional and global marketing processes. 

  • Other duties, analysis and projects as required. 

  • Trade Show preparation and coordination (typically 2-3 per year). 

  

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (Finance/Business) 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in Finance supporting Sales and Marketing.  

  • Experience with pricing and sales forecasting administration. 

  • Market Intelligence and competitive data collection. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (advanced Excel/Power Point (Lookup and Pivot tables). 

  • Power BI, Think Cell, SAP, and CRM knowledge.  

  • Experience in the chemical and plastics fields is preferred. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to compile and analyze large amounts of data. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across cultures and functions. 

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and follow-up skills and strong attention to detail. 

  • Big picture thinking and vision. Flexibility to think and step outside the box. 

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results, multitask and support continuous improvement.  

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload. 

  • Approachable demeanor. A true team player.
