Senior UX Designer – Apps

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior App Designer to take on exciting consultancy and project-based design assignments. In this role, you’ll work with some of Norway’s most recognized brands – creating engaging and effective user experiences that make a real impact.

You’ll be an essential part of our growing design team, contributing to our app design practice with clear opinions, strong conceptual thinking, and a sharp visual eye. This is a hybrid role, and some projects may include time on-site with clients.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead UX/UI design for app-focused projects, from concept to delivery
  

• Work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life
  

• Play a key role in shaping Shortcut’s design culture and community
  

• Contribute to sales activities and help position design as a strategic asset
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a digital designer
  

• Deep, hands-on experience with app design and design systems
  

• Mastery of Figma and modern prototyping workflows
  

• Strong form sense, visual design skills, and attention to detail
  

• Comfortable driving concept development and storytelling
  

• Collaborative, co-creative mindset – you enjoy working with others
  

• Creative and structured – you think big but also get things done
