We are looking for a Director of Accounting to join our Finance team!
Responsibilities· Assist the VP of Accounting in the management of all accounting operations including A/P, GL, Commissions and Revenue Recognition.· Coordinates monthly or annual closing workflow with applicable departments adhering to required deadlines · Assists in preparation and distribution of financial statements and various regulatory and bank compliance reporting.· Collaborating with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.· Supervises and participates in continuous improvement efforts· Establishes and maintains documented accounting policies and procedures.· Lead accounting integration efforts for future potential acquisitions including accounting system migration and standardization of policies and procedures · Oversee the training and development of finance staff and delegate duties and authority to meet departmental and organizational goals.
Key Skills:· Bachelor’s Degree related to Accounting · CPA required· Minimum of 6 + years of accounting experience in a SaaS Company or 4+ years in public accounting · Strong knowledge of US GAAP · Experience with process optimization and drive for continuous improvement · Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.· Experience with acquisitions and integrations including accounting for acquisitions and purchase price accounting is preferred · Excellent leadership and team building skillsIf you share our enthusiasm for the future of our company and are eager to contribute to our vibrant workplace, we look forward to receiving your application!
