About the role
TAQA, a leading company in the Energy industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to join our team. As the CHRO, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our human resources strategies to support the achievement of TAQA's objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Drive Talent Management processes, including workforce planning, succession planning, and talent acquisition
- Lead the design and implementation of effective performance management systems
- Develop and deliver innovative training and development programs that address the needs of the organization
- Oversee employee relations, including managing employee grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions
- Partner with executives and managers to create and maintain a positive employee experience
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
- Proven experience in developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment
