An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Admin Associate.

Key Responsibilities

The role will involve the following responsibilities:

  • Preparation of firm cash reconciliations
  • Investigate and partner with teams internally to resolve reconciliation issues
  • Reporting of all open / aged reconciliation items to management
  • Preparation of capital and liquidity reporting on a daily basis against our regulatory requirements, EQI and RAS metrics
  • Preparation of commentary related to large capital and liquidity reporting movements
  • Support the finance team in the preparation and full delivery of IFRS statutory financial statements for the Davy Group
  • Assist with audit file preparation and compilation of audit requests.
  • Assist with the month end close process within the designated business area.
  • Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of regulatory deliverables.
  • Participation in other ad-hoc projects
  • Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures associated with the role

Requirements

  • A minimum 1-2 years’ experience in the financial services sector;
  • Sound Reconciliation and control background
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Confidence in dealing with peers and other teams.
  • Problem solving skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience of successfully working to tight deadlines
  • Strong processing skills and an eye for detail
  • A proven record as a strong team player
  • A record of providing excellent customer service
  • Good Keyboard/PC skills
  • Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook.
  • Highly motivated and progressive with constant desire to improve efficiency
